Why we teach one-on-one
Many Muslim children in the US want to learn the Quran, and their parents want them to, but local options are limited, far away or crowded. Adults face the same problem with even less time. Live one-on-one online classes solve this: a good teacher can sit with a student anywhere and give the close attention that Quran learning has always needed.
What we believe
- The Quran is learned from a teacher. Recitation is corrected by someone listening closely.
- Every student is different. A plan for a shy six-year-old looks nothing like one for a busy professional.
- Love before pressure. Children should enjoy coming to the Quran.
- Honesty with parents. Clear monthly progress reports and open communication.
Our teaching standards
Every teacher meets all of these before teaching a single student:
- Ijazah and Sanad in Quran recitation
- At least 4 years of formal Islamic education
- At least 3 years of teaching experience
- Passed a live Tajweed assessment by a senior Qari (makharij, sifat, madd, waqf)
- Passed a teaching trial with a real student
- Background and character checked
- Fluent, professional English
